The Foundation was formed in March 1998 as a 501c3 tax-exempt organization dedicated to the endowment of the Dance and Music Education programs at Irmo High School. The organization is accountable for all fund raising activities that directly support students interested in these programs.

VISION

The Vision statement is to promote Excellence, Innovation and Esprit de Corps in Music and Dance Education.

MISSION

The mission of the organization is to provide a credible annual plan, solicit individual and corporate donations to endow the Music and Dance Education programs and involve parents and alumni to encourage long-term support for these programs.
 

STRATEGIES

The Mission will be achieved by collaborating with the Director- Bands of IRMO on future program needs, securing and maintaining 501c3 status to encourage donations, and making meetings and financial summaries open to all interested contributors.
 

HOW YOUR SUPPORT HELPS

New approaches are needed for the long-term growth of music and dance education programs. Each year, costs increase for equipment repair and replacement, community outreach efforts, clinicians, instrumental workshops and competitions.

Your tax-deductible gift will support all children involved in these programs and ensure that on-going outreach activities and updates are provided regularly by Foundation volunteers. Your pledge will have a direct and positive impact on the quality of education offered to students at Irmo High School.

HOW TO CONTRIBUTE The IMF accepts donations in the forms of cash, checks, or stock certificates.

If your employer or your spouse’s employer has a matching gift program, you can double or triple your contribution to the Foundation. Simply obtain a Matching Gift Form from your personnel office and enclose it with your gift.
