Missed or not Getting the Band E-Mails?

Spring Band Trip to Williamsburg

The final numbers are in for the Williamsburg Spring Festival trip, the total cost is $234.00 per person. Please send a check in with your student to give to Mr. Simpson to hold a seat for your student. If you have fundraising credit and would like to use that for your deposit or payment please send in a note to Mr. Simpson with your student.

Below is the basic schedule:

Friday 4/13/2012 leave Irmo High School, arrive Virginia check into the hotel and perform that night.
Saturday 4/14/2012 Busch Gardens all day
Sunday 4/15/2012 Kings Dominion half the day, return to Irmo

Payment schedule:

1st payment to hold a seat $25.00 due 1/25/2012
2nd payment $75.00 due 2/10/2012
3rd payment $100.00 due 2/24/2012
Final payment due 3/9/2012

Your student's account must be current in order to qualify for the trip. We will have a maximum of 10 chaperone spaces available. If you would like to be on the list for one of these spaces, please send John Lindower an email here at theirmoband@yahoo.com. The final day for full payment is 3/9/2012 no exceptions can be made.

Hi-steppers have a chance to perform at Busch Gardens on Saturday if we have 10 performers. Please let Angela Lagroon know this week if you would like you Hi-Stepper to be part of this trip. The cost will be the same as band members.

Band Booster Parent Meeting

The next Band Booster Parent meeting is Tuesday, January 10th. Check the calendar for the full meeting schedule.

Fundraising Updates

Irmo Band Day at Schlotzsky's Deli

Schlotzsky's Deli on Bush River Road will be hosting an Irmo Band Day once a month. For each customer that identifies themselves with Irmo Band, Schlotzsky's will donate 10% of those purchases to the Band!

This day will be the 3rd Thursday of every month. We encourage you and all your friends and family to visit Schlotzsky's on these days.

Band Patron Sponsors

This is great way to get family, friends, and local businesses to support your student and the program. 80% of the sponsor funds go directly to your assessment account. This is a great way to pay your marching band assessments.
