Dear band Families,

This Saturday is fruit pick up day!!!!  The semi truck will arrive at the school at 0 dark thirty and the unloading process will begin.  We will need students (and a few parents) to begin arriving at 7:45 AM to begin loading fruit into cars.  We are asking each student, who is not taking the SAT to work 2 hours.  There is a sign up sheet in the band room for your time.  The official pick up times are from 8:00 AM to Noon.
 

Saturday is also an end of the year work day, if you are not helping with Fruit we could use a couple of parents to help clean up the portables, shipping container and a few other projects around the school.  Bring your tools and cleaning supplies we will work from 9:00 AM to Noon.
 

The winter concert is Thursday December 8th at the High School cafeteria beginning at 7:00 PM.  Your student should have been measured for a Tux or Dress.  With the tuxes you student will need a wing tip tux shirt and black dress shoes, Burlington has tux shirts for $14.95 if you do not already have one.  Girls will also need to have the approved shoes to go with the long black dress they will be wearing.  Please have your student talk to Mr. Simpson if they do not have these items for next Thursday.  The cost of dress or tux rental of $31.25 will be added to you students acount.
